1. How long before I have to re-paint my ornamental iron?

I have seen iron work last 5 to 8 years before needing to be touched up. If properly taken care of it should outlast the life of the person.

2. Is aluminum better than steel?

We do some custom fabricated aluminum handrails and gates. Majority (95%) of customers use steel because the availability and applications of different products in aluminum is less than steel.

There are lots of different ornamental aluminum and steel gate and fence manufacturers across the U.S. We custom build all of our products to every job site's specific dimensions. There is no comparison to the quality of workmanship that goes into our product as opposed to mass producing manufacturers across the country. All of our fences are custom fabricated on sloped grades with no step downs, no big slotted holes in the top channel, no compressed ends such as spear heads and no screws in pickets or posts. Everything we fabricate is custom fabricated and welded.
